RESUME
Depuis ces dernières années, de nombreuses
évolutions ont fait progresser l'espérance de vie en France.
Devenu problème de santé publique, le vieillissement de la
population s'accompagne de diverses pathologies. La maladie d'Alzheimer,
pathologie démentielle évolutive et incurable, touche 18% des
personnes âgées de plus de 75 ans. Les soins palliatifs et la fin
de vie interrogent les soignants et la maladie d'Alzheimer va amplifier ce
questionnement. Ayant des principes communs avec les soins palliatifs, la
philosophie de soins Humanitude® va permettre de prendre soin et
d'accompagner la personne âgée Alzheimer tout au long de sa vie,
en considérant l'individu non plus dans sa maladie et dans la
technicité de la médecine mais dans sa globalité et son
humanité.

SUMMARY
In the past few years, many evolutions have made progress
in the life expectancy in France. This has become a problem of public health,
the ageing of the population comes along with various pathology. The
Alzheimer's disease, evolutionary and incurable dementia pathology, affects 18%
of people aged 75 years and over. The end of life and palliative care in
questioning the nursing staff and people suffering Alzheimer's disease is going
to amplify this questioning. Having common principles with palliative care, the
philosophy Humanitude® care giving is going to allow to care and to
accompany the elderly with Alzheimer throughout their life. Considering the
individual neither in their disease nor in the medical aspect, but as a whole
and humanely.
