This report is divided into two main parts. The first part
is the description of the association Cities Internet. Emphasis is placed on
the organization's administrative structure, its focus and its achievements.
The second part of the work is devoted to the question of assessment of the
label. A theoretical approach has sought to present the "label internet Cities"
as a reference for innovation and a tool for development of local communities
in France through a few examples of accomplishments. In the same chapter, the
project evaluation Cities Internet Africa focused on two aspects of the issue:
a theoretical part on the state of municipal and communal sites of the
sub-region pointed to the project and a second Strand developed on the pilot
project. Here the emphasis is placed on the specifications, partnerships and
implementation scenarios. The last part of our work out the difficulties
encountered during the internship, disability related to label and proposed
solutions.
