1.2.1.4. Impacts du transport de bois sur l'environnement

Les impacts majeurs du transport sont bien sûr causés par la construction des routes. Les camions peuvent être à l'origine des accidents matériels et corporels ; pollutions divers (gaz d'échappement, fuites de carburants et lubrifiants) ; transport et commerce illégaux de viande de chasse et d'autres produits (FAO, 2003).
